best of thailand

APRIL 20-28, 2026

WHERE ARE WE GOING?

We’re heading on an 8-night liveaboard adventure through some of southern Thailand’s most iconic dive sites, from April 20 to 28, 2026.

This is the “Best of Thailand” itinerary with Master Liveaboards, covering a mix of well-loved spots in the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Richelieu Rock, and the more remote Surin Islands.

Thailand offers beautiful reefs, colorful marine life, and a chance to dive with zebra sharks, manta rays, and (if we’re lucky) whale sharks. The underwater topography ranges from coral gardens to dramatic boulders and pinnacles, with the occasional swim-through and macro critter thrown in.

It’s a solid mix of fun diving, great scenery, and warm water, perfect for a relaxed adventure with a great group of ocean-loving folks.

WHo’s coming?

This trip is coming together as a small, queer-friendly group of ocean lovers — friends, friends of friends, and adventurous souls who share a love for diving, nature, and meaningful connections. Some of us are meeting for the first time, others already know each other, but we’re all coming with the same open-minded, inclusive spirit.

We’ll be a maximum of 18 people on board, and there are still spots available — so if you know someone you’d love to travel with, feel free to share this page with them! Whether you're joining solo, as a couple, or with a buddy, you’ll be in good company: laid-back, kind humans excited to experience the magic of diving Thailand’s best sites together.

This trip is great for all levels and very welcoming to newer divers. A PADI Open Water (or equivalent) certification with a minimum of 10 logged dives is all you need to join. We’ll have a supportive group and experienced crew on board, so you’ll be in good hands every step of the way.

THE BOAT

We’ll be exploring Thailand aboard the Thailand Master, a beautifully crafted traditional Indonesian sailing yacht designed for dive adventures in both Thailand and Myanmar. The boat comfortably accommodates up to 18 guests, offering a cozy, relaxed environment perfect for our ocean-loving group.

There’s a spacious dive deck with plenty of room for gear and easy water access, plus an outdoor dining area at the stern — shaded, breezy, and perfect for soaking in the views between dives. Inside, you’ll find comfortable common areas to rest, connect, or just enjoy the ride.

Gear rental is available onboard, so no stress if you prefer not to travel with your own equipment.

Every day, the crew prepares delicious Thai meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients — and they’re super accommodating to dietary preferences. The boat and dive crew are warm, experienced, and always ready to help make this trip smooth and unforgettable.

CABINS available and costs

Whether you’re traveling solo, with a friend, or in a small group, the Thailand Master has a cozy, air-conditioned cabin waiting for you — all with private en-suite bathrooms, fresh towels, and comfy bedding. Here's a quick look at the cabin options:

Double/Twin Cabins (x3) — $3,656 USD per person
These can be arranged as either twin beds or a double, making them great for couples or friends traveling together. One of these cabins even includes an extra single bed.

Fixed Twin Cabins (x2) — $3,656 USD per person
Perfect for two people traveling together — each comes with two fixed single beds and the same private en-suite setup.

Quad Cabins (x2) — $2,720 USD per person
These are ideal for friend groups or solo travelers who don’t mind sharing! Each quad has four single beds (two standard and one bunk setup), plus the same private en-suite and A/C.

All cabins are on the lower deck, individually air-conditioned, and cleaned regularly by the lovely crew.

You'll be able to request your preferred cabin type, and we’ll do our best to accommodate everyone’s choices depending on availability.
